Vegan Yarn Certificate
Vegan Yarn Analysis
The acceptance of the concept of veganism and the increase in the number of vegan individuals have led to the questioning of all the products we use other than food. Threads traditionally made of wool and silk are not vegan. Any product produced using and exploiting animals cannot be considered vegan.
Plant-based materials such as cotton, bamboo, linen and hemp or synthetic products should be used in vegan yarn production. They are useful and high quality products in yarns produced by using plant-based or synthetic products.
When choosing yarn, vegan individuals are not only concerned with the raw material of the yarn, but also whether the dye materials are vegan-based in dyed yarns. In other words, within the scope of the Nanocert Vegan Product Certification System, all raw materials used in the production of a yarn are examined one by one and the product is analyzed and certified as vegan.
Vegan yarns approved by the Nanocert certification body can be labeled and offered for sale as products that consumers can use with peace of mind.
