Squalene: It is a component obtained from shark liver. It is used in deodorants, lip balms and moisturizers.
Lanolin: It is a component obtained from sheep's wool. It is used in lip balms, lipsticks and glosses.
Guanine: It is a component obtained from fish scales. It is used in glittery make-up materials.
Collagen: It is a protein component produced from the bones, skin, ligaments and tissues of cows.
Animal Hair: Fox, squirrel, mink, goat, horse and sable bristles are used in makeup brushes.
