Is Ambergris Vegan?
Amber is a valuable waxy substance found in tropical seas, found as a secretion in the intestines of the sperm whale. Also called “Floating Gold,” amber has been used in fragrances and luxury perfumes and some traditional medicines since ancient times.
Amber, which is used to fix odor in the perfume industry, is of animal origin. It's definitely not vegan.
